In Graphic Novel Development, we will create script content, character designs, and process page design work (thumbnails), then develop a selection of finished pages towards the production of a graphic novel. Additional topics we will explore include pencilling, inking, perspective, anatomy, compositional techniques and lettering.

This online course features pre-recorded tutorial videos that you can watch during the week when it is convenient for you, as well as weekly live video discussions (using Google Meet), both full-class and one-on-one sessions with the instructor.

Graphic Novel Development combines content from Graphic Novel 1 (Creating Graphic Novels), Graphic Novel 2 and Graphic Novel 3. Jump in wherever you left off or if you are new to my graphic novel courses, you can start from the beginning.
