Foundation Colour student work (Iryna Dmytrenko): colour theory, colour wheel

Student work by Iryna Dmytrenko

Foundation Colour - student work, painting in gouache

Student work

Foundation Colour - Type A Studios

In Foundation Colour, we explore the fundamentals of colour theory and colour relationships in various applications through a series of painting exercises and course projects. We then produce beautifully detailed designs in gouache based on those relationships.

Two projects and their process work constitute the basis for the course evaluation.

This online course features pre-recorded tutorial videos that students can watch during the week at their convenience, as well as weekly live Zoom discussions, both full-class and one-on-one sessions with the instructor.
