Cartooning 1

In Cartooning Level 1, we created great characters. In Cartooning Level 2, we’re going to create more — friends and enemies for them and put them all together in a single panel cartoon.
Cartooning Level 2 is a course based on the cartooning fundamentals of character design, composition and perspective. Emphasis is placed on the breakdown method of drawing in character creation and rendition using a series of cartoon drawing exercises. Environmental design and perspective technique will be covered along with basic composition. We then complete the course by placing our characters in a single panel cartoon composition.
This online course features pre-recorded tutorial videos that you can watch during the week when it is convenient for you, as well as weekly live video discussions, both full-class and one-on-one sessions with the instructor.
Students are responsible for two projects, which may be completed using either traditional or digital media, or a combination of the two.
